Locate & Donate SmartHunt

The Locate & Donate SmartHunt® is a charitable scavenger hunt filled with engaging team-building activities that will fill participants with a collective sense of goodwill and accomplishment. This philanthropic event will unite teams through laughter, activities, games, and above all, the shared experience of serving others.

Before teams walk out the door, the SmartHunt® begins with a 15-20 minute Kick-Off led by our Lead Facilitator during which teams will be presented with an introduction to the event goals, rules, and strategies. After an energizing activity guided by our facilitator, teams are set loose to earn points by completing as many of the challenges as they can during the fun and engaging scavenger hunt. Photo missions, video challenges, trivia questions guide teams on a corporate scavenger hunt through the various attractions, historic sites, and local gems of the area.

Our SmartHunts App uses AT&T 4G LTE services and Wi-Fi to record photos, document videos, and to conduct scoring. GPS tracking and a messaging system allow our facilitators to stay connected with teams throughout the hunt. Our proprietary app will never lose connectivity due to our unique file-submission system that incorporates cloud technology.

Below are two options for how the Locate & Donate SmartHunt can be delivered:

PUZZLE CHECK CHALLENGE – Fund Raising Activity

Teams equipped with iPads take a custom tour of your destination, including attractions, historic sites, and local gems. Teams are points by completing photo missions, video challenges, and trivia questions, all of which require teams to work together and strategize. While teams are competing for points, they will be prompted to locate specific challenge station locations where a SmartHunts Facilitator will greet them and explain the rules for the station’s unique challenge. Upon completion of each challenge station, teams will earn big bonus points by scanning a unique QR code in the SmartHunts app. Also, at one of the challenge stations, teams will be awarded a mystery package that is to be opened at the end of the event.

At the ending location, the mystery packages are revealed to contain large puzzle pieces. After assembling the puzzle, to participants’ surprise, a large-format sized check written out to the charity of your choice is formed!

All photos and videos taken during the event are displayed as a slideshow for all to enjoy. Following the slideshow, the winning team is recognized and awarded gold medals. If possible, a representative of the charity receiving the donation will be available to speak to the group and thank them for their efforts and their donation.

CARE PACKAGE DONATION  – Fund Raising Activity

While teams are competing for points, they will be prompted to locate specific challenge station locations where a SmartHunts Facilitator will greet them and explain the rules for the station’s unique challenge. Upon completion of each challenge station, teams will earn points as well as items to be donated as part of a charitable care package. The actual items can be awarded at each station, or digital certificates for the items can be unlocked in the SmartHunts App for retrieval at the ending location.

At the ending location, the care package items are collected, an inventory of the items is completed, and the donations are organized and presented to a representative of the charity. An example of a care package donation is when each team earns and then puts together a school backpack full of school supplies that is then donated to underprivileged school children.

After the SmartHunt, we will send you a secure link to a private webpage that contains all the photos and videos shot by your group. The page also includes a professional highlight video that will be provided two weeks post event date.
